Local government minister inspects stalled Kejetia Phase II and Krofrom market projects

Mahama Ayariga walked through the unfinished concrete corridors of the Kejetia Market Phase II project in Kumasi. Construction on the site stopped months ago, leaving steel framing and exposed foundations uncompleted.
Ayariga, the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, arrived in the Ashanti Regional capital to inspect two stalled market developments. His tour included the Kejetia Phase II facility and the Krofrom Market project.
Government officials confirmed the visits come as the state steps up efforts to get both facilities completed.
