Editorial Policy
Culture Gossip covers African music, film, fashion and culture. “Gossip” is in the name, but our standard is simple: if we publish it, we believe it’s true — and if we get it wrong, we fix it fast and say so.
Sourcing
We base stories on verifiable sources: official announcements, artists’ and labels’ own channels, reputable media, and first-hand material. Rumours are reported as rumours, clearly labelled, and never presented as confirmed fact. When a story develops or turns out differently, we update the article rather than leave it stale.
Accuracy and corrections
Mistakes happen. When we find one — or you point one out — we correct the article promptly, and significant corrections are noted in the article so readers can see what changed. To report an error, use our Contact page with “CORRECTION” in the subject and a link to the article.
Independence and disclosure
Our editorial opinions are our own; coverage is not for sale. If content is sponsored, or we receive a product, trip or payment connected to a story, we say so clearly in that article. Affiliate links, if we ever use them, will be disclosed.
Attribution
We credit and link the original source when reporting on others’ work. Images are our own, licensed, or used with credit to their owners. Rights holders with concerns can reach us via our Contact page — see also our Terms of Use.
Comments and community
Article comments are currently disabled; the conversation happens on our social channels. We moderate our social spaces and remove abuse and hate speech.
