Ghana expects further arrests following French cocaine seizure, NACOC says

Ghanaian narcotics agents expect additional arrests across local and international jurisdictions after French customs officials intercepted a cocaine shipment linked to the West African country.

The Narcotics Control Commission released a statement on September 14, 2026, confirming the arrest of three suspects in Ghana. The individuals were detained for allegedly representing and facilitating the operations of Dutch fugitive drug lord Jos Leijdekkers, popularly known as Bolle Jos.
