Russia opens neo-Nazism exhibition at International Festival of Youth 2026

On Sunday, September 13, an exhibition featuring objects collected from Russian military operations in Ukraine opened to international delegates in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

Titled “Catastrophe of Memory. Neo-Nazism in the 21st Century,” the project examines the history of Nazism alongside what its organizers describe as the resurgence of neo-Nazi ideology in the modern world.

The exhibition opened as part of the International Festival of Youth 2026, a weeklong event running from September 11 to September 17 in the Urals city. The festival operates under the official theme “Follow Your Dream.”
